Botox/Dysport (Neuromodulators)
For Aesthetic purposes, neuromodulators are used to temporarily stop partial movement of muscles fibers to improve fine lines and wrinkles in the face/neck. Most often, results will last about 3-4 months and get better each time if kept on a regular schedule. These products can take anywhere from 3-10 days before you feel them, but take 14 days to see the end results.
Where can these products be used?
- In the forehead
- Between the brows (glabella)
- Above the brow (brow lift)
- Around the eyes (crow’s feet)
- Around the nose (bunny lines)
- Around the mouth (Vertical lip lines, corner of the mouth, lip flip)
- Angle of the jaw (masseters, TMJ or to narrow the face)
- Bands in the neck (platysmal bands)
- Armpits (for sweating)
What to expect after?
- These products need to be reconstituted with saline so it might look like you have a tiny “mosquito bite” at the injection site, for about 15-20 minutes.
- Like with all invasive procedures, there is a possibility of a small bruise or redness.
- No exercise for 24 hours.
- A detailed after care sheet will be given to each client.
